The conference will take place from the 19th to the 21st of May 2015 at the Old Campus of the University of Zadar, Ul. M. Pavlinovica 1, 23 000 Zadar, Croatia www.unizd.hr.
Zadar is a city rich in spiritual and material culture, as well as in a touristic identity created in the present. It was formed around the Roman forum, a city inside well-kept walls, a city of old Croatian monuments. Full of archives, museums and libraries, it is the keeper of literary and musical treasure; it is the city inside with the oldest University among Croatians (1396).
The conference website at www.isi2015.eu serves to publicise the event. The site offers information on dates and programme details and is linked to the website of the German Academic Association for Information Science (HI) www.informationswissenschaft.org, University of Zadar and the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) www.asis.org. The conference will also be publicised via the press offices of University of Zadar and HI and announced in specialist journals such as ASIS&T Bulletin, Information, Wissenschaft und Praxis, Newsletter of the Croatian Library Association and the Newsletter of the Croatian Information and Documentation Association. The conference programme will additionally be communicated via relevant social media channels and the general academic press (e.g. www.facebook.com/isi2015 and twitter.com/isi2015conf.
The Conference, which generally attracts around 300 international participants, is orientated toward information specialists. Typical conference participants deal with information and knowledge management in economic, technological and social contexts and focus on the search, organisation and use of information and as well as its effects on private and professional fields and on the exponentially expanding information market as a whole. Presentation of your company on the conference website
Comprises an introduction to your company (text) and the presentation of your logo incl. link. Text and logo must be provided.
We shall provide you with the latest images and a logo as official sponsor of the event.
We invite you to present your company, its services and products to conference participants personally. To this end we are pleased to offer a presentation stand in the main university building foyer. Different stand sizes are available according to the sponsorship package chosen. Table(s), power supply and WI-FI access are available.
The Gerhard Lustig Prize is awarded for the best student thesis completed between 2013 and 2015 from the broad field of information science.
The German Higher Education Association for Information Science named the prize after Professor Dr. Gerhard Lustig, who counts as one of the founders of information science in Germany. The annual prize will be awarded at a ceremony during the Information Science Symposium on the 20th of May 2015.
Inclusion in the conference video recording. Papers presented at the conference will be recorded on video and made available on the website. The logo of the premium sponsor will be included.
Address at the conference opening. As premium sponsor, your company will receive an explicit mention at the opening and close of the conference. You also have the opportunity to address the conference (3–5 minutes’ duration).
