Katsiaryna S. Baran Katsiaryna S. Baran studied English and German Literature in Polotsk, Belarus, and Information Science and Language Technology in Düsseldorf, Germany. She is a staff member of the Dept. of Information Science, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Her main research fields are Social Network Services, including Facebook and Vkontakte. In cooperation with Kathrin Knautz she is currently working on an anthology about “Facets of Facebook: Use and Users” (De Gruyter Saur)
