About Kristina

Kristina Kocijan was born in 1973. She received her MA in May, 2004 after defending her thesis ‘Case Grammars and Understanding of Croatian Language’. In April, 2009, she defended her PhD Thesis ‘Model of a Parser for Croatian Language’ at the Doctoral Studies offered by the Dept. of Information and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. As of November, 2000, she has been working as a research and teaching assistant at the Dept. of Information and Communication Sciences where she is currently working as an Assistant Professor. Since 2000, she has participated in several scientific projects, presented papers at conferences and held several workshops. Her main fields of interest are Big Data, Data Quality, Data Visualization, NLP.
